PLANT AND FLOWER CARE

Your fresh flowers or potted plant were designed with care by a local florist in Fishtown, Philadelphia. Here are a few tips to get the most out of your arrangement or plant so it can thrive in your home!

Our arrangements need fresh water every other day! Simply tip your arrangement gently over the sink to pour out the old water. Refill the vessel with fresh water from your tap, and enjoy your happy flowers!

Flowers will last longer if you keep them out of direct sunlight and away from heating and cooling vents.

We always recommend bottom-watering our potted plants. Take the plant and its plastic pot out of the decorative pot and sit it in a dish of water (or your sink or bathtub!) for 20 minutes to an hour. The size of the pot will determine how much water you want, but typically about 1-3 inches.

Our dish gardens don’t have a plastic pot or drainage, so these will need to be top-watered. Pull up the decorative Spanish Moss and add water.

We specialize in low-maintenance house plants, so most of our plants do not need excessive watering and they like medium, indirect light best.

Succulents and cacti, of course, prefer brighter light and even less water!
